Frequently asked questions

Which WhatsApp number is used for the bot?

It's your coach number (or a dedicated Atletio number if you prefer to separate pro and personal). The bot writes under your name (clients see 'Lucas - Coach'). You can take over from the dashboard at any time, the client won't notice.

Do my clients have to accept anything?

No. Since it's your number writing, it's just a normal WhatsApp message to them. No bot to accept, no permissions, no app. They reply as they would to a person.

Does Atletio use the official WhatsApp Business API?

Atletio uses Gowa, an open-source WhatsApp Web bridge. It complies with WhatsApp's terms for 1-to-1 use between you and your clients (no marketing broadcast). No risk of ban as long as you don't spam.

What happens if a client doesn't reply to a check-in?

After 24h with no reply, Atletio sends a polite reminder. After 72h, the 'missed_checkin' signal triggers and you're notified in your queue. You can disable reminders or adjust delays per client.
